As one of the most prestigious wedding coordinators in Los Angeles, Paige Iris Traynor-Ashcroft is known for being classy, elegant, and the orchestrator of many happily-ever- afters.
But in the words of Paige herself: “What a crock of shiitake.”
Known affectionately (or not) as P.I.T.A. to those closest to her, she’s never been one to buy into the whole monogamy thing for herself. Sure, her BFFs are getting picked off by Cupid one by one, but his arrows have nothing on her semiautomatic.
Richard “Dick” Dawson does his best to live up to his name. A long-time frenemy and manwhore extraordinaire, he thrives on pushing limits, pushing up skirts—and pushing every single one of Paige’s buttons. He’s the itch she can’t scratch, and doesn’t want to. Or does she?
What happens when blazing-hot rage turns to crazy, unexplainable lust?
Surely not…love? Because that would just be a total P.I.T.A.

This is the third book in LA liaison series. Seriously after reading Licked and Hooker I was looking forward to this one for quite a sometime.
Brooke, really did out herself in this book. There were humour, sass – now everybody knows how much I love sass, flirty and angst. If I have to name this book like the ice-creams in Licked book I would say its ‘I will take it all’ sundae.
Pita, here is the abbreviation for Pain IN the Ass given by Richard Dawson to Paige. Now if Paige has her nick name its obvious Richard has too. Richard Dick Dawson.
Paige Iris Traynor – Ashcroft, is a successful wedding planner in Los Angeles. She has come to attended the wedding anniversary of her parents in Las Vegas, the same parents who are kind of hypocrites. Paige knows how much her parents disdain each other but in people’s eye they are happily married. Paige wants nothing to do with marriage or life partners. The only reason she is famous wedding Planner is because the money in that field is good. And she wants to outnumber herself in front of her father with the money and status and wants to prove that she can much better without their help.
Richard Dawson, he lives up to the name Paige has given him. He is a serious manwhore and was a childhood best friend and secret crush to Paige. But now he is her arc enemy.
The night in Vegas doesn’t go as planned in the party and things lead further and into another thing and then again into something other. This book was just a whirlwind of mishaps of Pita and her life. one drunken night with Dawson her childhood crush things drastically changed. And then it was really fun reading her and her view on anti-marriage! I really liked Dawson, especially in the last when he was doing and saying things… Ah! Super swoony! Seriously.
The BFFs of Paige all had their story except for one, Quinn, and nobody knows what she is up to. I hope we get to read her book as early as possible!
About the Author
You could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a- holic from the time she knew how to read; she used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her ‘quiet time.’ Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she now carries around and the size of her onesie pajamas.
Brooke enjoys writing sassy contemporary romance, whether in the form of comedy, suspense, or erotica. The latter has scarred her conservative Southern family for life, bless their hearts.
If you’d like to get in touch with her, she’s easy to find – just keep an ear out for the Rick Astley ringtone that’s dominated her cell phone for ten years.
