Genre: New Adult Romance
Remington Stringer has never been like most girls. She’s outspoken, brazen and wants nothing more than to escape the Nevadan hell hole that she calls home.
On the brink of eighteen, with a deceased mother and a well-meaning, yet absent father, she is forced to fend for herself. The only person she’s ever had to depend on is her borderline obsessive stepbrother, Ryan. But, what used to be her anchor is quickly becoming a loose cannon.
When Remi gets the opportunity to attend the best private school in the state during her senior year of high school, she jumps at the chance. Then she meets Mr. James. Ornery, aloof, and totally irresistible.
Most girls would swoon in secrecy.
Most girls would doodle his name with hearts in their notebook.
But Remi Stringer has never been like most girls.

This book was so damn awesome. I always love a good forbidden story, as they have an interesting character background to it. And what’s more forbidden than a student teacher hot romance? hahaha I give myself a treat reading forbidden once in a while.
This book was not at all what I expected. I thought it would be a cliché student teacher attraction which they aren’t able to fight off but this book is intense to a certain level.
“You deserve so much more than this life.”
“I know, but I want to find ‘more’ by myself. To earn it.”
“You have earned it.” His lips are now on mine, and his fingers are in my hair. “Now let me deserve you.”
Based in Las Vegas, Misbehaved shows us the living condition of Remington Stringer, who lives in an ugly part of the city with her step brother and dad. it looks perfect for a middle class living girl with his step brother all the time and dad no being present in her life, but its anything like that.
My dad is indifferent toward me, Ryan wants to possess me, boys at school lust after me…but Pierce treats me like he needs me.
Remington, in the beginning shows that she has a crush on her step brother, Ryan. I emphasis Step, because Ryan too stakes claim at Remi as if he owns her. Her father, decides that Remi would spent her senior year of high school in an upper class royal school. where she meets with her speech and debate teacher, Peirce.
As the name sounds, he is too hot for being a teacher and Peirce knows that Remi, is not the kind of girl that school has, all uppity and rich. now, Peirce too has some greyish past and tries to save Remi against it.
“I fell in love with a girl who felt like a woman and made me feel like a man instead of a ghost.
I fell in love, at the beginning with an idea, in the middle with her curves, and in the end, with the whole package.
I fell in love with my student, and now I am standing here, asking her to sin. Asking her to do the thing I would argue against and frown upon. Asking her to love me back.”
this book is like an onion, layer on top of layer. each and every character her is so mesmerizingly described. The scene portrayal gave me goosebumps and the forbid past were nothing like ever imagined.
“Sometimes secrets ruin lives. But sometimes they save them.
In short if you want yourself a forbidden yet meaning and deep romance book, pick this one up.
