Hiring my brother’s best friend was not on my to-do list.
Neither was he.
Expanding my dirty cocktail bar into food was supposed to be easy, except finding a chef in my little town of Whiskey Key is anything but. Until Parker Hamilton comes home—bringing his Michelin starred chef’s hat with him. He has no work. I need someone like him in my new kitchen. There’s just one problem: I hate his cocky, filthy-mouthed, sexy-as- hell guts. Even if I might want him. Just a little…
Working for my best friend’s sister? Not on my to-do list.
She’s another story.
Whiskey Key was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, except I haven’t reached the heights I have by lying in a hammock drinking cocktails. So when Raven Archer is desperate for a chef, I offer up my skills. I’m bored. She needs what I can give her. Except there’s a problem: I’ve always hated her. Her and her big, blue eyes, sassy mouth, and killer curves. If only I didn’t want her.

Emma is my auto buy author so it wont be any new that I love her books. Almost all her books I have read and more than almost I loved.
Here this book is a second novel after Casanova. So, there we read all about how Lani and Brett falls for each other after hating each other for almost a decade.
Now in Mixed Up, Raven is the owner and bartender of her bar, Dirty, and wants to expands to a food restaurant but the thing the type of chef she wants for her restaurant line is not easily found. Raven is very desperate to find a chef before her crazy family meets her in Whiskey Key for the get-together. Parker Hamilton, her brother’s best friend and Raven’s childhood enemy is the perfect chef for the job but she is to proud to ask for the help.
Parker Hamilton is the man she needs and wants for the job and too bad he is hot for his own good that Raven is attracted towards him like a moth. But ever so sassy Raven is, she wont admit the feelings.
Gah!!!!! this book was soo good. i mean obviously when you are enemies and when both the people are insanely hot as hell there is going to be sexual tension bubbling. And the same thing happened here. Too much hots between them and obviously in the kitchen.
Totally freaking loved them!!!
