I have everything a guy could want—a new single burning up the charts, more money than a simple country boy could spend, and a woman I’m planning to marry.
Until she doesn’t show up for my proposal.
The life I thought was so perfect, isn’t.
The guy who thought he had everything, doesn’t.
I’ve got my heart on lockdown, but life sends me straight into the path of a mouthy bartender who puts me in my place.
Now the only place I want to put her is under me.
I thought I was done with love, but maybe I’m just getting started.

What it is about Meghan and her heroes?? Because they are just so perfect. All alpha and hard around the edges but really a sweet pie with degree of dirty talking.
Like all her other heroes, Boone thrasher is the world famous country singer. We met him very very briefly in Dirty Billionaire series and briefly in Real Good man, when Boone hired Logan to remodelled his car.
So we read in that book that Boone was set to propose a girl and that never happened, so this book takes pace exactly at the same time Real Good love ended.
“The worst thing to happen in his life led him to the best thing. You can’t tell me that wasn’t meant to be”
Boone is totally annoyed with his girlfriend absence, so he his singer friend to drown the sorrow goes to local bar where he meets Ripley Fischer.
Now Ripely Fischer, is a hard working woman who has no intention in ever dating or going out with singers. To say she hates them because of what happened in her past is very low. Ripley is working in a bar named Fish Bowl which is not working good as they happen maximum of three customers in weekdays.
Sure, Ripley is trying her best to float the bar she has grew up in but working beside her both cousin and father who doesn’t give two shit about her is frustrating.
When Ripley and Boone first met it was lust at first sight but when they talked with each other cold water has splash on that spark. They kind of not like each other because of Ripley’s misjudge concept about singers and Boone’s ever annoying and know it atittude towards her.
“I want to hate him. Everything about him. He shouldn’t make me want to climb him like a mountain to plant a flag at the top saying Ripley was here. No way. No how”
But obviously things were going to get heated when there was too much hotness in a place. Sigh. I lived their chemistry and how they were to each other. Totally damn cute.
“Amber was probably a little bit of a bitch.
Ripley, on the other hand, is a straight-up nut.
I’ll take a nut over a bitch any day”
If you haven’t read this book, what are you wanting for?
