Racer McKay is a broody bastard.
From the moment I met him, he’s been rude, irritable, and unbearable.
A contractor working to remodel my parents pool house for extra cash, he stomps
around in those clunky construction boots with his tool belt wrapped around his narrow waist, and a chip on his shoulder.
Racer McKay is also infuriatingly . . . sexy as hell. I want to take that pencil tucked behind his ear, and draw lazy lines slowly up and down his body all the while wanting to strangle him at the same time.
We try to stay out of each other’s way . . . that is until I have no other option but to ask for his help.
But what I don’t realize is he needs me just as much as I need him. I have money he’s desperate for, and he holds the key to making my dreams come true.
Our pranks turn from sarcastic banter, to sexual tension and lust-filled glances.
Bickering matches quickly morph into slow burn moments. We’re hot, we’re cold. We push and pull. I need him, I don’t want him. We’re on the verge of combusting with an agreement dangling dangerously between us. Neither one of us can afford to lose one another and yet, we’re finding it quite hard to decipher the line that rests between love and hate.

I’m the hired help; she’s the boss with the checkbook.
Eeiihhh this book, why did it ever end? It was soooo goooddd…. loved every freaking words of it…
She’s champagne and I’m nickel and dime beer. If we were living in the world of Jane Austen, I wouldn’t even be allowed to talk to Georgiana Westbrook, let alone call her a nickname.
Ever since I have read Racer in my Best friend’s Ex I had instantly grown to like and than getting his own book was the cherry on the top!
He was sooo hot and arrogant and childish and jerk you’d love to read. As we all well know that Racer had money problem in MBFE it was widely shown here what all would do get additional money in his pocket.
Working with his best friends and one of them being the boss, he was provided with more work but still he was struggling to meet ends… so what did he do? Work weekends for more money! Such a hot hardworking carpenter.
She might drive me crazy. She might make me want to punch a wall at times with her asinine thoughts on construction, and she might make me feel inferior not by her doing but by my own, but hell, there is something about this woman that makes me want more with her.
Racers better half, Georgiana, was a trust fund baby of a male chauvinist father. Where she wants to roar and make a mark in the world her dad insist upon being a dotting little daughter and than a wife.
I just loved Georgie’s character… she was so real. I mean it was all shown how you struggle with plastic parents and their appearance.
Racer always says he and Georgie are like oil and water but they are soo freaking similar. Both wanting to do something that nobody had any faith in. Though it was not insta lust or anything but they gradually developed feelings for each other which I personally loved! Because in the first instant they met each other they were at each other’s throats! But as they say there’s a fine line between love and hate.
I want her so damn bad. We’re so different. We come from different worlds. We come from different upbringings. So how is it possible that we’re both so fucking similar? Aligned. Driven. Perseverance is our middle name. I refuse
I totally adored this book!!! I hope Smalls have his own book as well… fingers crossed
She’ll always have my heart. She’ll always have my support. But I won’t be someone who drags her down. She will win. Even if I lose in the process.

She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
