Pucked over is the third book in Pucked series by Helena Hunting. I have read the first book Pucked which was Alex and Violet and I was not keen to read the second one which was about Miller and Sunny. But I was crazy for this book. This book is about Lily, Sunny’s bestie and Randy Balls, Miller’s bestie.
There was the mention of Randy in first book but I don’t know anything about the characters in second one but it won’t interfere with your reading.
So, the book starts at a fundraisers event, which was held by Miller for Sunny. Lily mentioned her previous introduction to Randy and how it was.
Randy, is a srious player and I man it both ways. He is as good in hoclesy as in sacks. He had tons of bunny he played with and when things get serious he leaves. It’s shown from the start of the book that Randy is very insecure of his personal relationship. That’s all becsue his father was a hockey player and cant keep his pants on with the bunnies there.
Lily, is Sunny best friend and was in a on and off realtioonship with BEnji for sven years. She too had an hockey father who didn’t stay long and her mother was a group. Too desfuntctional family for both of them
They met at Alex’s Cabin (which was in book 2) where Lily was already a moron Benji. Benji was a total dick. He use to make Lily feel inferior. That was the first-time Randy and Lily hook up, but not completely. As hockey players, they are known to have bunnies so Lily in her anger decorate Randy clothing with sharpie.
But whatever Benji destroyed with Lily and her self-esteem Randy had very amazingly build that up again. They start their relationship with casual. Lily wanted a rebound and Randy was more than happy to be one.
Their relationship was not monogamous at least that’s what lily thought. But she wanted it to be. Randy would wait weeks to meet Lily for their casual set up, which was totally not casual if you ask me.
Randy never wanted to be a relationship, he has seen many family dramas which have destroyed homes and more specifically his own home and doesn’t want the same for himself so he is very keen on being only the rebound guy.
Lily is snarky and sweet and beautiful where Randy is hot hockey player with beard and cute man bun with a sleeve of tattoo. Fhew totally smoking hot.
