Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.
He’s not handling it well.
Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much- needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:
Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.
A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.
While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.
The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor.
But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.
As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

What a strange pair we are. The sad boy and the frightened girl.
Fhew! Prince Henry super freaking swoonnyyy!!! I was just swooning whole through the book. This time also Emma Chase did it with creating such a beautiful story. After reading Henry in first book I was very intrigued for his own as well.
Prince Henry, has been crown Prince after his brother Nicholas gave up the crown for love. Now Henry was always the black sheep in the family but when the responsibility of the whole country came upon his shoulders, he is bound to do mistakes. He is so frustrated in the palace with his grandmother imposing the duties, two sided friends and with Nicholas not in the same country. So, Henry’s Grandmother sends him to somewhere far for the space he need desperately.
It’s not the middle of nowhere – it’s the end of nowhere. On the coast, with jagged cliffs and icy oceans on one side, forest on the other – the nearest thing resembling a town an hour’s drive away. This isn’t “space”; it’s banishment.
Henry, ever the bad boy, contacts the producer of the reality TV show and starts the one month to dating show, where he meets Sarah Titebottum.
Sarah too intrigued me in the previous book and her scene was for very less time but Sarah did a good impression in the last book which intrigued me more for her story here.
Sarah had sort of anxieties. She gets blank out when she hears something loud. And there’s a heart wrenching story behind that too. Sarah’s mom demanded Sarah to accompany her sister Penelope in the contest. So, Sarah was mere a side part in the laid-out plane of dating show.
Reading is knowledge and knowledge is power; therefore reading is POWER. The power to know and learn and understand…but also the power to dream. Stories inspire us to reach high, love deep, change the world and be more than we ever thought we could be. Every book allows us to dream a new dream.
The first impression of Henry and Sarah was unlike I ever thought. It was sweet with a bit of sass in it. Yes, Sarah had sass in her. Their banter and the chemistry was off the charts. I think this book really showed how to overcome the fear of failure. Because not only Henry was affair of being failure Sarah was too.
Their story was whirlwind of emotion, drama and love.
I love how Emma expresses her male character. They are not confused about their feeling towards their lady and are quite open to show that as well. And same goes with the female character, they aren’t easily misunderstood the situation.
I would give up a crown for her. I would give my name, my title – I would trade my country, forfeit my birthright, lie, kill, cheat and steal for this.
